The government will have to bear the burden of Wall Street’s current economic crisis. Wall Street is represented by a well dressed pig being carried by a weakening Uncle Sam. Wall Street is unaware of its current condition and the greed that got it in trouble in the first place, now needing government money to keep going. A worried President Bush is trying to reassure the pig and Uncle Sam by saying, “Don’t worry! You’re going to be okay!” To add to the stress of our economic downturn, the government must reassure Wall Street and itself that all will be ok. Wall Street seems to be unaware the mistakes that got it in its current condition and Uncle Sam seems to be crumbling under the weight of Wall Street which could lead to another great depression.
