The interests of the Republican Party lie in continuing the war in Iraq to protect our country, taking care of our veterans and senior citizens, and fixing healthcare and the economy. On my collage is a picture of troops getting off a plane in Iraq and the seal of the National Security Agency. McCain wants to continue the war because if we pull out it could put our nation in danger and protecting our country comes first to the republicans. The other pictures on my collage are of a veteran, the seal of the Social Security Administration and of burning money. Being a veteran and a senior citizen, McCain’s interests would most likely lean toward helping those parties; also the declining economy is affecting everyone so McCain would focus on that. If McCain is elected president, we should expect a continuation of the war, vigilance toward national protection, more benefits for veterans and seniors and an attempt to fix the economy and healthcare.
